Discovering Tiggers are related to lions, Tigger declares himself king of the Hundred Acre Wood.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Acquired Situational Narcissism: Tigger grabs this hard after discovering he’s related to the famed “king of the beasts”.
- Artistic License – Biology: Owl claims that the eagle is his cousin, but owls and eagles aren’t even in the same order of birds. Averted with Tigger - lions and tigers are both in the genus panthera, making them related.
- Berserk Board Barricade: When Tigger thought there was a real "Jagular" around, he considered paying Rabbit a visit...after nailing the door shut.
- Disproportionate Retribution:
- Tigger threatens any subject who question his ways with his fake jagular.
- Rabbit. Hey, Tigger stole his tablecloth, he has every right to teach the false king a lesson.
- Egopolis: Tigger orders the Hundred Acre Wood to be renamed "Tiggeropolis" under his rule.
- God Save Us from the King!: Tigger has anyone who upsets him threatened with a jaguar attack.
- Ignored Epiphany: Tigger has seemingly learned his lesson at the end, though then ponders if he's related to any even grander beasties such as the "Boa Rescrictor" or "Hammer Nose Shark".
- It's All About Me: Tigger, big time.
- Miles Gloriosus: Played with. Tigger conjures up a fake "Jagular" to scare the other animals. When he sees what is supposedly a real one, he is obviously less than confident, though still makes a dive at it.
