Season 1 comes to an end as loose ends are tied up and preparations are made for the future.
- All for Nothing: The Tallest feel this way about the season's entire Story Arc, seeing as Project Domination was destroyed without anyone getting it.
- Dénouement Episode: The seasonal Story Arc wrapped up last chapter, with this one setting the stage for next season.
- Disappointed in You: The Tallest express this towards Tenn for failing to get them Project Domination.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Gaz tries to sabotage the Spittle Runner in order to spite Dib, and ends up electrocuting herself and triggering a security system which launches her through the air to crash into the Skool, where Miss Bitters and Nny force her to clean up the resulting mess.
- Mythology Gag: Zim mentions buying a device called a signal blaster, which is a reference to the Gargantis Array from Issue 2 of the comic series.
- New Era Speech: Zim closes the first season by giving his first broadcast as "Miz", a speech which is meant to rally Irkens to rise up against the Tallest.
- Underestimating Badassery: Both the Tallest and Tenn decide that Zim's threat level is severely diminished by the loss of Norlock and Project Domination. Defied by Tak and Dib, though, as they realize that he's just as dangerous, if not even more so, due to desperation.
- Villain Has a Point: Even though Norlock betrayed him, Zim decides to take his advice and start to rally Irkens to rise up against the Tallest under an alias.
