This episode has examples of

  • Forgetful Jones: When Zoot looks for his sax in Anne's dressing room, he has trouble remembering even his own name.
  • Last-Second Word Swap: After the Koozebane number, Kermit is told that the monsters that performed in it are expecting a chauffeur to drive them home. When Kermit starts to tell them that the show never ever arranges transportation for its performers, they attack him, causing him to quickly amend to saying that the show never fails to provide transportation.
  • Saying Sound Effects Out Loud:
    • After the pigs sing on motorcycles in the opening number, we cut to them going backstage, with Link Hogthrob still doing "vroom" sound effects despite no longer being on a bike. When Miss Piggy reminds him that the number is over, he goes "Putt putt putt putt..." as he walks off-screen.
    • The sketch with the creatures going "Trudge trudge", "Streak streak", and so forth.

Statler: You know, something doesn't have to be funny to be good.
Waldorf: What'd you think of this show?
Statler: It was good!
