The plane finally lands in Paris, with the entire cast, who then go their separate ways.
Mackenzie leads the cheer squad to the locale of the competition where they find out Team USA disappeared without a trace under mysterious circunstances and that Jeanie is having trouble finding more people to their team. They meet the unpleasant Team France who declare their hatred for USA to be considered the fashion country as they see that France created fashion.
Fired up and ready to compete, the girls find out they can't, since they can't compose a full team of 5 male models, 5 female models and one captain, Mackenzie realizes what she has to do, but doesn't like it.
Tropes:
- Big "NO!": Mackenzie does this when Jeannie reveals that they need to find other attractive American teenagers who just so happen to be in France.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Than goes looking for who should he hang out with this season.
- Call-Back:
- Trisha attempts to introduce Mackenzie using the introduction for her in the first season.
- Brittnay refers to the time she killed four men in an alley back in season 4.
- Common Tongue: Played for laughs and lampshaded. The cheer squad is accused of being misinformed as, apparently, everyone in France speaks english with a heavy French accent.Julliette: Nobody speaks French in France, everybody speaks english. With French accents.
Trisha: Oh, well that'll be convenient.
Trisha 2: Very convenient. - Contrived Coincidence: The amount of people needed for a modeling team is about exactly the amount of people from Overland park that traveled to France.
- The Door Slams You: Mackenzie comes dangerously close to being on the wrong end on one of these thanks to a stressed Jeannie.
- Evil Counterpart: The French team is this to the Cheer Squad. All even more jerkasses than them.
- Ironic Echo: When Mackenzie tries speaking to Jeannie:Jeannie: (to Mackenzie) Who the fuck are you?
- Lawful Stupid: Trisha 2 refuses to help out Mackenzie and Brittnay restrain a panicking Trisha because she can't take her seatbelt off while the seatbelt sign is on.
- Non-Standard Character Design: The french characters are Silkstone Barbies, made fairly different from other Barbie dolls.
- Similar Squad: The French team, which basically amounts to a bitchier version of the cheer squad with French accents.
- Shout-Out:
- When the girls leave the airport, a man is talking on the cellphone and asking about his daughter.
- Trisha is restrained in a similar fashion to Hannibal Lecter.
- Julliette refers to Kim Kardashian when badmouthing american fashion.
- Your Mom: Brittnay flubs this:Juliette: Team USA is going down. That’s where you’re going.Brittnay: Yeah! Going down on your mom! (beat) Oh... God. I could’ve done better than that. Fuckin’ jet lag.
