- Fly in the Soup: The Stinger of the episode has Brian saying "Head-waiter Dougal? There's a fly in my casserole." where Dougal finds Fly in Brian's casserole and chases him off.
- Restaurant-Owning Episode: Dougal starts off a restaurant of his own, until things went out of hand when Dylan brings carrots instead of the food that Dougal required. Then, all the customers, except for Florence who feels sorry for Dougal, leaves angrily when they didn't receive the food that asked for.
- Supreme Chef: Dylan becomes this towards the end of the episode. Despite being carrots and tastes nothing like them, his food was so good that it brings all the customers back.
