However, with this new change of gloves comes with a new change in attitude as Bugs changes to fit the nature of the gloves. Because of this name change, a college lecturer mistakes Daffy for an actual professor and asks him to teach his class for a period of time.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal:
    • Bugs. When his White Gloves shrink in the wash, he is inspired to get a new pair. He gets a pair of leather gloves, which cause him to become a rebel.
    • Daffy as well. This episode reveals that the white stripe on his neck is a pearl necklace that belonged to his grandmother.
  • All Bikers are Hells Angels: Bugs' wardrobe change causes him to take on the personal of a gruff, violent, bad-tempered outlaw biker.
  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Lola becomes even more infatuated with Bugs' new biker persona.
  • The Cameo: Bugs passes Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner riding his motorcycle through the desert.
  • Clothes Make the Maniac: Wearing leather fingerless gloves instead of his usual White Gloves causes Bugs to act more and more like a tough-guy biker.
  • Go to Your Room!: Walter grounds Lola to her room for wanting to date a bad boy. This exchange occurs:
    Walter: Go to your room!
Lola: I don't even live here anymore!
Walter: (beat) Well, go to your old room that your mother turned into a scrapbooking room!
  • Malicious Misnaming: Walter when demanding the new Bugs stay away from Lola.
Walter: GET OFF MY PROPERTY, THUGS BUNNY!
  • Meaningful Name: When Bugs tells Daffy that shrinking his gloves is just what he'd expect from someone named Daffy, Daffy looks up the meaning of his name on the computer. He finds that adjectives for Daffy include Foolish, Insane, Brainless, and Crazy. Daffy decides to change his name and get a job as a professor in an attempt to look smarter.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Walter is normally very enamored with Bugs and strongly approves of his relationship with Lola. When Bugs becomes a biker, he starts treating him with scorn and forbids Lola from ever dating "that hoodlum". Of course, he warms up to Bugs again once he goes back to his normal personality at the end of the episode.
  • Shrunk in the Wash: Daffy shrinking Bugs' gloves in the washing machine is what kickstarts this episode's plot.
  • Star-Crossed Lovers: Played for laughs when Walter forbids Lola from going out with biker Bugs.
Lola: [melodramatically] But, Daddy, I love him!
  • Two Decades Behind: Discussed; when Bugs tries to buy a new pair of white gloves from a clothing store, the clerk at the counter tells him their store no longer sells them, as it isn't the 1800's anymore.
