Gleb comes too far with his pranks on Phil, and now Phil wants to strike back. And since Varya seems to always be around (which makes him suspect that she was working with Gleb all this time), she must help him, only then he would consider her to be "redeemed". Phil organises everything, and manages to scare Gleb enough for him to faint... but Gleb still manages to make the last laugh, by faking near-death condition and scaring Phil and Varya. They are not amused, and Gleb now has to run.

Semyon's relationship with Irina finally comes to sex, and today is their first night. But there's one problem: she screams in bed... a little too loud, which leads to Lobanov's paranoidal neighbour calling police, over a "murder". Once they notices "blood" on his shirt (actually red wine), Semyon instantly gets hit in the face. Situation only gets defused when Irina appears and screams again, just as loudly, and neighbour realises what she mistook for the "murder".

Kisegach wants for her relationship with Bykov to be something more than just sex... but he is happy with how it is. Bykov tries to sabotage that discussion, firstly by faking extreme situation, then by inviting Anastasia into a karaoke bar in hope that it would be too loud for them to have any meaningful conversation. But instead she uses the situation in her favour, by asking Bykov via microphone, publicly, wether he's ready to live on her terms... or leave her forever. He chooses to accept her terms.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Bring My Brown Pants: When Gleb awakes him at night with one of his pranks, scaring him to near death, Phil says that he shouldn't scare the sleeping people like that, as it may be too much for their heart... or, worse, their sphincter.
  • Dude, Not Funny!: Phil never liked Gleb's usual pranks, but him pretending that he's dying goes too far, and neither Phil nor Varya considers this to be even remotely amusing; Phil reacts by attacks Gleb with a broomstick.
  • Face of a Thug: When Semyon's paranoidal neighbour calls police because she mistook Irina's screams for murder, Lobanov's face and red wine on his shirt are just enough for policemen to consider him to be dangerous and hit him in the face. Situation only gets defused when Irina appears.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Bykov invites Kisegach to karaoke bar, knowing that it's too loud to discuss anything here. She just takes the microphone, bur rather than sing, gives him an ultimatum — either they start actual relationship, or breaks up permanently.
  • Immodest Orgasm: Irina screams so loudly, Semyon's paranoidal neighbour mistake this for murder, and call police. When she screams again after seeing police (just as loudly), it serves to prove Semyon's innocence.
  • Jump Scare: Phil pranks Gleb by jumping at him while wearing a monkey mask, and screams at him. When Gelb faints, Phil removes the mask and smiles like a maniac.
  • Karaoke Box: When his previous plan to avoid discussing their relationship fails, Bykov invites Kisegach to a karaoke bar (where drunkards pretends that they can sing), being sure that making discussion here is impossible. But she uses it against him, when, instead of singing a song, she uses the microphone to (publicly) tell Bykov about their relationship, and give him an ultimatum: either he accepts that there's something more (and receive his sex), or they would break up here and now — forever.
  • The Peeping Tom: Gleb can't see them, but he wants to ''hear" Lobanov's and Irina's night of love, via phone.
  • The Prankster: Gleb goes too far with his constant pranks on Phil, and now Phil wants to strike back, by scaring Gleb. In fact, he scares him enough for Gleb to faint and damage his nose.
  • Relationship Upgrade: Kisegach thinks that she and Bykov have too little in common outside of sex, while she wants something more. But Bykov is uncertain if they must go any further, and decides to sabotage their discussion about their future: by faking extreme situation, where he must run to his patient, and, when it fails, by bringing her to karaoke bar, where they can't hear each other; last one backfires, when Anastasia uses it against him, when, instead of singing, she tells Bykov about their relationship, and gives him an ultimatum: either he accepts that there's something more (and receive his sex), or they would break up here, now and forever. He accepts her terms.
  • Troll: Not only Gleb constantly plays pranks on Phil, he makes sure that Phil would not believe Varya when she tries to warn him, by always "thanking" her on "doing her part" after pranks' success.
