Hitchhiker: Laura Perry represses any feelings that disturb the calm waters of her life. But love's currents are strong, and the undertow of obsession is hard to fight.


A deeply repressed office worker obsesses over her boss.


This episode of this series provide examples of:

  • All for Nothing: Warren now hates Laura just like everybody else.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: Zig-Zagged. The very beginning when the main female character of the episode sneaks into someone's office and tries on his suit while her coworkers knock on the door. When a secretary demands to get in the room. Laura changes back to a female version of Sharp Dressed Man complete with 80s glasses.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Laura breaks her drinking glass in her hand, muttering that work needs to be done, after finding out her boss is at the hospital tending to Mandy, the woman he loved, who Laura tried to poison.

Hitchhiker: Laura thought that she could control her passions. She sealed them behind a wall of cold efficiency, but when the dam of repression cracked, the waves of her own obsession quickly swept her away.
