I love you too, Shaun... but...
After breaking up with Carly, Shaun tries to find the courage to confess the truth about his feelings for Lea.
- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: This trope applies to the two patients of the week, although in somewhat different circumstances.
- The old woman had a distant relationship with her son, but she really loved him, to the point that his nickname was the last thing she said before died.
- Despite his hedonism, "Hyde" really cared about his other personality.
- Blatant Lies: "Hyde" said he had sex with a lot of women at once, Claire and Morgan did not believe him one second.
- Hates Being Alone: Shaun is already sad that Carly broke up with him. But he is completely terrified of confessing to Lea that he loves her not only because he fears being rejected, but also because he fears that it will ruin their friendship.
- It's Not You, It's Me: Lea rejects Shaun's Love Confession despite her own feelings for him, because she belives he won't be happy with her.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: "Hyde" is a hedonist who apparently dedicates himself to ruining the hard work of his other personality, but really cares about him, and apparently had genuine feelings for a woman.
- Love Confession: At the end of the episode, Shaun confesses to Lea that he loves her. To his delight, Lea admits that she also loves him. But what she says next doesn't make him happy...
- Manly Tears: Shaun at the end of the episode after being rejected by Lea.
- Put on a Bus: This is Carly's last appearance on the series. There is no explanation for the character's absence (at least for now).
- Self-Deprecation: Lea admit to Shaun that her professional and romantic life is a mess.
