Shaun is insensitive to his new patient, Quinn, who has cancer, is biologically male and identifies as a girl.
- Innocently Insensitive: Shaun ends up making prejudiced comments with the patient that identifies as a girl while being biologically male. But in this case, it is because Shaun simply cannot understand the situation.
- Nice Girl: The patient Quinn is actually a very nice girl. She had no problems answering Shaun’s questions about being trans. Quinn even admitted that she rather have people ask her questions about it then bully her.
