A Plot: Adam's obsession with toys is cause for concern for Beverly and Murray, and they try to distract him with a new hobby.
B Plot: Erica, Lainey, and Valley Erica's band "The Dropouts" decide to audition for Star Search, but their egos threaten the band's future.
- Mondegreen Gag: Barry thinks the Queen song "Bohemian Rhapsody" is really called "Bohemian Rap City", and uses that as his excuse to add rapping to it.
- Stylistic Suck: Both Erica's and Lainey's performances of "Bohemian Rhapsody" come up short:
- Erica falls apart during the Opera part due to being one person trying to handle a four-part vocal harmony.
- Lainey's performance suffers due to Barry adding in some nonsensical and contradictory rap lines. Sample:
Lainey: Mama...
Barry: I'm so, so sorry.
Lainey: ...just killed a man.
Barry: With the power of karate. - A Wild Rapper Appears!: Barry thinks "Bohemian Rhapsody" is missing some mad rhymes and decides to rap between Erica's lines.
