B Plot: Pops asks Erica and Barry to take over the holiday toast.
- Batman Gambit: Adam finds out that Murray gets teary-eyed listening to "Cat's in the Cradle" and uses it to get a new lens for his camera. Beverly finds out and uses it to have Murray invite Pop-Pop over for Thanksgiving.
- Mondegreen Gag: Uncle Marvin thinks Cat's in the Cradle is a song about a son getting revenge by shutting his father out of his life in adulthood, and includes lyrics such as "The cat eats the baby with the silver spoon".
