Horror Race II is a revamped version of Horror Race.
Changes are made to make the race slower, to that end 4 section is replaced with 3 section (so the most monster can move at once is now 3) and there are now puddles on a board. If monster reaches them it must stop. Monsters can also piggyback each other if they arrive at the same space.
Coin props are also changed: metal cores are taken out and all coins are the same size except for Mummy's coins that are slightly bigger.
Game is played with returning players from previous seasons: Kim Poong from season 1, Lee Doohee of season 2, Shin Ahyoung, Lee Jeongbum from season 3 and Lee Sangmin.
Guests and players are playing the game individually: player(s) with the most points win and player with the least are going to Deathmatch. Guest(s) with the most points get monetary prize of ₩ 9 000 000 (~$9000).
Hyunmin tries to make a team with everyone and tells all other players he's going to work with them today. But Dongmin sees through his act and immediately senses that Hyunmin is going to betray him today. He allies with Jinho who is the most trustworthy of remaining players.
On the guests' side Sangmin gathers Ahyoung and Poong and offers to team up and split the prize. They are 5th, 6th and 8th in turn order. They ally with Jinho who has 7th turn and can largely decide the game with their continuous streak of turns.
Dongmin-Jinho and Sangmin's guests alliance goal is to make Zombie and Jiangshi 1st and 2nd and put either Vampire or Mummy on 3rd spot. Then Dongmin wins amongs players and Poong wins among guests
◊. Added bonus of that plan is that Kyunghoon will be the last with that outcome and Sangmin and Ahyoung want to take revenge on him.
During the game Zombie piggybacks Jiangshi and then Mummy gets on top of them. Because Mummy's coins are bigger than the rest it's easy to pick them from the box. Jinho and Sangmin grab all six Mummy coins and put them on 1, making sure that Mummy jumps off Zombie and Jiangshi. Ahyoung who surrendered her coins on previous turn goes last and makes a big move putting Jiangshi on both 3 and 2. Jiangshi and Zombie riding it are moving 5 places forward together while Mummy stays behind.
Dongmin-Jinho alliance finish the game and execute their plan perfectly: Zombie is first, Jiangshi is second and Mummy is third. Dongmin wins among players and gives 2nd token of life to his partner Jinho. Poong wins amongs guests and shares the prize with Ahyoung and Sangmin.
Kyunghoon goes to Deathmatch. He picks Junseok as his opponent. They are playing Quattro.
This time around Quattro is played with virtual players to eliminate collusion between players, however it is still largely depends on luck of a draw. Kyunghoon gets better cards and with better strategy he wins Deathmach, eliminating Junseok.
