Dongmin and Hyunmin are first to enter and having enjoyed working together previous week, decide to continue their partnership with the end goal of pushing each other into finale where they will duke it out between themselves.

Main match this week is Stormy Stock Market.

Players are given 10$ of fake money and then take turns trading on stock market.

Just like with Scamming Horse Race games stock fluctuations are pre-determined and players are given hints detailing which stock price will go up/down, for how much and when.

There are limited number of shares and players can't hold more than seven per each company.

To trade, players enter dealer's room one by one. Once inside they have to sell and then buy. Player can't spend more than 40 seconds in there. This adds timing factor. Best practice is to time your visit to dealer's room so that prices change during your 40 seconds so that you can capitalize on the changing price instantly by selling rising stocks or to buy stocks that just fell unopposed.

Player that made the most money (both in cash and in shares) wins and players with least — goes to deathmatch.

In round 1, most of the players exchange hints freely. After round 1 ends, Yuhyun estimates Hyunmin must be first. He asks other players not to exchange hints with him and some do, but Hyunmin still gets complete picture by secretly exchanging notes with Dongmin.

Before round 2 starts, bandage man reveals that they will hold an auction for a set of exclusive hints using garnets. Knowing that this type of mid-game auctions can win you the game, people start bidding war.

Hyunmin and Yeonjoo bid for it but when they reach 9 garnets they court other players to split garnet bids: Dongmin stops pretending he's not Hyunmin partner and openly backs him, while Yuhyun and Ahyoung support Yeonjoo's bid. Misunderstanding between Yeonjoo and Yuhyun (he doesn't want to commit fully with his own garnets, instead promising to give her his set of hints which she expected to get either way) leads to her wavering and Dongmin and Hyunmin win the auction.

Exclusive hints are indeed game-changing: they reveal that at certain time all stocks will crash. Aside from financial benefit of this knowledge Hyunmin also uses these secret knowledge for social gain. He recruits Yeonseung and Jongbum to do his bidding for the promise that he will share these hints. He uses them to time his own visits into dealing room by telling them how much time they should spend in the room because outright line-cutting and skipping is not allowed.

Several minutes before the crash he tells them about the impending crash telling them to get rid of everything. He times it so that Dongmin is the next coming in right after the crash, so that he can pick up all those shares Yeonseung and Jongbum sold on the cheap (because of the line order Hyunmin can't do it himself, in fact market crash does him a lot of harm but he expects Dongmin to give him immunity so he goes for it).

Game ends and Dongmin is overwhelmingly first and Junghoon is last. Dongmin predictably gives immunity to his partner Hyunmin and Junghoon picks among the rest for his Deathmatch opponent.

He picks Jongbum and they play Betting Rock-Paper-Scissors. Junghoon plays predictably, and after a few rounds Jongbum manages to get a read on his patterns. Jongbum makes several successful bets by correctly predicting Junghoon's plays. When reaching round 9 with 2 points advantage Jongbum uses Yongsuk's strategy to keep status quo by tying and he wins the game, eliminating Junghoon.

Tropes:

  • Always Second Best: Yuhyun gets annoyed how he is once again in second place behind Hyunmin.
  • Dead Drop: Dongmin and Hyunmin use hiding places to exchange information they gathered, all the while acting as enemies for others.
  • Dead Man Switch: to circumvent new rule that Deathmatch winner only receives their own garnets back while loser's garnets disappear, players start giving garnets to third party for keeping during Deathmatches. But when Yeonjoo becomes a candidate for Deathmatch she refuses to give up her 9 garnets, saying that if someone chooses her and she is eliminated, the prize pool will be significantly reduced. She turns her garnet wealth into a protection of sorts.
  • Flashback: Dongmin and Hyunmin are being confrontational during most of the main match, but we see flashbacks seeing that this is just for show.
  • Right on Queue: players form line to enter dealing room one by one. With the timing being extremely important cutting in line or even skipping a turn can be very beneficial however it is specifically prohibited. Hyunmin however finds a way to circumvent this by convincing his minions to spend less (or more) time in there. Yuhyun tries to counter Hyunmin's tactic by spending full 40 seconds in the room even when he has nothing to sell or buy to try to mess up Hyunmin's timings.
  • Sharp Dressed Men: Yeonseung, Junghoon and Dongmin.
  • Younger Than They Look: others note how Junghoon looks much younger than Dongmin despite being same age.
