Air date: December 17, 2014
Games inspired by: Twelve Janggi — Let's Catch the Lion!

After traditional introduction of opponents standing in the darkness and talking to each other and reminiscing of the path they took to get here, eliminated players do interviews with each of the finalists and then distribute helping items to the player of their liking. Because of Dongmin's image of a leader who takes care after his people, he accumulated a lot of good will from most of the cast so he is showered by item advantages from eliminated players. He gets 8 items while Hyunmin only gets 3.

Finale consists of 3 games. Dongmin has a pick of first game and he picks 12 Janggi — simplified chess-type game played on 3x4 board which was played before in Constellation Game and the one he is more confident in. Dongmin is methodical and is taking time to think over his moves while Hyunmin does his turns right away to give his opponent less time to think over moves. Eventually pressed for time Dongmin makes a mistake and loses first round.

Next game is new "Same Numbers Hunt" and it is a combination of memory and arithmetics game where players are shown 4x4 board filled with numbers and math operations for 5 seconds and then all tiles are flipped to the side with letters. Then dealer picks a number from lotto machine and finalists have to name 3 letters to make up a valid equation from numbers and signs on the other side of the letters that results in that number.

Hyunmin memorized two first rows completely but didn't had time to memorize last rows, while Dongmin relied on his visual memory so he kinda has a faint idea how all numbers in all rows look like. Hyunmin has a much sharper mind so he crunches numbers faster than older Dongmin but Dongmin has an visual image of entire board in his mind. He makes guesses about numbers he is not sure about and gets it right every time. Hyunmin is so shocked that Dongmin seemingly manged to memorize an entire board, he even makes a mistake with numbers he was supposed to know. Dongmin also uses his items right and gains an advantage that Hyunmin can't overcome. Dongmin gets 10 points and wins second round.

It's 1:1 and the third game, "Betting Rock-Paper-Scissors", decides the winner. Because more eliminated players favoured Dongmin, he has an item advantage AND more information than Hyunmin. He uses this advantage to get ahead and then keeps drawing to deny Hyunmin of possibility to get even. Hyunmin gets rattled by this tactic, gets impatient and bets all his chips and loses. From this points on it's over, Dongmin keeps drawing, keeps his advantage and wins the third round and an entire Genius 3: The Black Garnet.
