Timmy and his friends are disappointed that they have to return to school after a wonderful spring break. Remy arrives and tells them about "F.U.N. Academy.", a school with "no parents, no alarm clocks, fun games and unbelievable food." Timmy wishes for scholarships to the academy for him and his friends, but when he's dropped off, he learns that Remy has tricked him yet again. F.U.N. Academy is actually a military school for troublemakers! Worse, Timmy's drill sergeant is Shallowgrave ("Go Young, West Man!"), who lost his job because of a certain "pink-hatted punk."
Tropes:
- Big Bad Duumvirate: Remy Buxaplenty and Shallowgrave form an alliance to put Timmy and his friends under brutal military training.
- Brick Joke: At the end of the episode, Mr. Crocker searches around for an F after finding Timmy late for class. Then the last missile from the F.U.N. Academy — with a large “F” emblazoned on its side — arrives and strikes Crocker on the spot.Mr. Crocker: (covered in soot from the missile) Well this is a tad ironic…
- Death Course: The climactic obstacle course. Shallowgrave notes that the Marine Corps generously donated the course because it was too scary for them.
- Even the Rats Won't Touch It: Remy gleefully notes how the F.U.N. Academy has “unbelievable food” while introducing it to Timmy and his friends. Later, we get to see said “unbelievable food” – a glob of brown sludge with hairs, bone, eyeball, and a sentient tentacle that grabs Timmy. Only Chester enjoys it.Timmy: He’s right. I don’t believe it’s food!
- Face–Heel Turn: Despite declaring a truce with Timmy at the end of "The Big Bash", Remy Buxaplenty decides to antagonize Timmy yet again.
- Fun with Acronyms: F.U.N. stands for For Unruly Ne’er-do-wells.
- Luxury Prison Suite: Though not technically a prison suite, Remy — thanks to Juandissimo — manages to get by at the otherwise draconian academy in a luxurious mansion, rather than the typical barracks housing everyone else.
- Military School: What the F.U.N. Academy turns out to be.
- Mundane Solution: A.J.’s idea to rapidly clear the last obstacle, a towering wall of spikes, is to… simply walk around it.A.J.: I’ve got an idea, but it’s pretty bold.

Timmy: (deadpan) Duh. - Physical Fitness Punishment: On a few occasions, Shallowgrave orders Timmy (and once, his friends) to do pushups.
- Rousing Speech: Timmy gives one of these before the academy gets going on the obstacle course. Apart from Chester and A.J., most of the students aren’t particularly moved.
- Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: The Running Gag of Remy bribing Shallowgrave to have things his way, from escorting Cosmo and Wanda to the Junk Shed to threatening the destruction of said shed with a missile later.
- There Is No Kill Like Overkill: An enormous missile with “F.U.N.” imprinted on the side would destroy the Junk Shed and everything in it (including Cosmo and Wanda) should the academy students fail to complete the obstacle course in time. A.J. manages to redirect the missile strike away from the shed with mere seconds to spare — but not before the missile had split into three.A.J.: Relax. I’m prepared for anything.

A.J.: (more frantically) Except that! I’m not prepared for that! - Truce Trickery: Remy Buxaplenty visits Timmy's school to offer him, Chester, and AJ a place at the "FUN Academy", under the pretense that the truce he and Timmy agreed upon during "The Big Bash" is still in effect. However, this turned out to all be a trick on Remy's end, as the FUN Academy is actually a military bootcamp and it was all a scheme to get Cosmo and Wanda.
- Very False Advertising: Remy initially presents the F.U.N. Academy as a colourful, idyllic kids' paradise with "no parents, no alarm clocks, fun games, and unbelievable food" — a far cry from the dreary, thuggish Military School it actually is.
