Original air date: 6/14/2004 (produced in 2003)

Episode number: 46a

Timmy thinks Vicky would be nicer if she had a boyfriend, so he wishes one up for her. However, the new boyfriend, Ricky, is just as much of a jerk to Timmy as Vicky is. Timmy finds out that Ricky is only interested in Vicky’s money, and must find him a richer girlfriend for him to dump Vicky for.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Birds of a Feather: When Vicky meets Ricky, they both fall in love with each other once they enjoy earning money and tormenting kids.
  • Blatant Lies: When a torpedo from Cosmo and Timmy's goofing off game ends up destroying Timmy's room, Timmy's mom asks him what the noise was, and Timmy says that it wasn't a torpedo, before hiding the remains of the torpedo behind him.
  • Brick Joke: Timmy's mom was about to punish Timmy for making a mess in his room, she gets distracted by her husband's gifts and forgets about that she was angry at Timmy. At the end of the episode she suddenly remembers that she was still furious with Timmy.
  • Dating Service Disaster: Timmy sets up a dating profile for Ricky and hooks him up with a seemingly beautiful rich teen queen called Dolores-Day. Ricky eagerly accepts to marry her and breaks up with Vicky, only to later find out that Dolores-Day is actually Denzel Crocker's mom, an elderly woman who spends her money on prune juice and blood transfusions, much to Ricky's dismay.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Timmy didn't know Vicky would literally fall in love with Ricky, as he only wanted "distracting romance", thus he cannot wish Ricky away. And as it couldn't get more worse, he has two evil babysitters now.
  • Distaff Counterpart: Ricky is basically a male counterpart of Vicky, has similar looks, is a Babysitter from Hell just like her, and also shares her same greedy and jerkass personality.
  • Dominance Through Furniture: Vicky and Ricky use Timmy as a table in the title card and later in the episode as a footrest.
  • Easily Forgiven: Subverted - while Timmy's mom was about to punish Timmy for making a mess in his room, she gets distracted by her husband's gifts and forgets about why she was angry at Timmy. It isn't until the end of the episode when she suddenly remembers why she was furious with him.
    • Played straight with Cosmo, whom Wanda was about to punish for firing a torpedo at her when he offered a similar gift that Timmy's dad offered to his wife.
  • From Bad to Worse: Not only does Vicky get a boyfriend, but now Timmy has two evil babysitters. And he can't unwish the wish because Vicky's in love with him.
  • Given Name Reveal: Crocker's mother's name is Dolores-Day.
  • Gold Digger: Ricky is a male example, since he's only dating Vicky for money.
  • Hot Guy, Ugly Wife: Ricky ends up in this situation by the end of the episode after being fooled into marrying the much older Mrs. Crocker.
  • Running Gag: Timmy's parents dancing as a distraction from their anger towards Timmy.
    • A pianist playing the Funeral March on the piano whenever Vicky or Ricky show up.
    Vicky: STOP FOLLOWING ME!
  • Sadistic Choice: Timmy is forced to either clean every toilet in his house or drink out of them.
  • Shout-Out: "Dolores Day" sounds an awful lot like Doris Day.
  • That Poor Cat: When Vicky and Ricky yell at Timmy, a cat screech is heard after Timmy is hurled off-screen.
  • The Reveal: Dolores Day turns out to be Mr. Crocker's mother.
  • Vocal Dissonance: Dolores-Day's profile image is that of a beautiful woman, but still has her elderly woman voice.
