Mark Chang asks for Timmy's help in defeating the Gigglepies, extremely cute but secretly evil aliens who have invaded Yugopotamia.
This episode contains examples of:
- Ambiguous Gender: The Gigglepies have ambiguous looking faces and visible eyelashes, as well as similar effeminates voices. Very few have been referred to with gender-related pronouns.
- And I Must Scream: If the Gigglepie Cosmo are still being alive even after being chewed up is any indication, the Gigglepies are in for a very rough, prolonged end of their lives in the Yugopotamians’ bellies.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: The Gigglepies are cute on the outside, but on the inside...not so much.
- Cuteness Proximity: The Gigglepies are beyond adorable it sends the Yugopotamians into a Freak Out; they also hypnotize Cosmo and Wanda with their "fluffy alien cuteness", which Timmy finds out.
- Eaten Alive: How the Gigglepies are defeated. The one that Cosmo eats, chews, and spits back out is still alive, as it’s shown to be left a pile of chewed up mush with blinking eyes.
- Eating the Enemy: As it turns out, the Gigglepies are made of manure, which happens to be a rare Yugopotamian delicacy; thus Timmy wishes for the Yugopotamians to be freed from their cages with empty bellies, and they eat all the Gigglepies.
- "Eureka!" Moment: When Cosmo can't bring himself to attack one of the Gigglepies because they're so cute, even cute enough to eat, he eats it only to spit it out, revealing it tastes like manure, which is the rarest delicacy on Yugopotamia, clueing Timmy in to the Gigglepies' weakness and how to defeat them.
- Foreshadowing: On Earth, Vicky orders Mark to manure the garden, he proclaims manure to be a delicacy on his homeworld.
- Free Prize at the Bottom: The plot begins with the Yugopotamians getting Invader O's with a free prize inside; those turn out to be the Gigglepies who take over their planet.
- Friendly Tickle Torture: At one point, Timmy is tickled by two Gigglepies, Trilly and Boo Boo.
- Here We Go Again!: One of the Invader O's with a Gigglepie in it somehow ended up at the Turner house.
- Hypnotic Eyes: The Gigglepies use these on Cosmo and Wanda.
- I Ate WHAT?!: Cosmo decides to eat one of the Gigglepies alive, but spits it out in disgust; turns out the Gigglepies are made from manure on the inside, which Yugopotamians love, giving Timmy an idea how to defeat the Gigglepies.
- Kneel Before Zod: When Overlord Glee is introduced, he insists Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda bow down to him. Timmy is smart enough to refuse, but Cosmo and Wanda obey.
- Not Hyperbole: This is how Cosmo inadvertently discovers the Gigglepies' weakness; when he says that they're cute enough to eat, he promptly stuffs one in his mouth, only to spit it out when he finds that they're made of manure. As manure is a Yugopotamian delicacy, Timmy wishes for the Yugopotamians to have bibs, utensils, and empty stomachs to be able to eat all of them.
- Rhymes on a Dime: The Gigglepies speak like this.
- Painful Rhyme: In-Universe, as the Gigglepies' rhyming meter begins to falter, one of them attempts to rhyme "riduculous" with "trick-ulous", causing Cosmo and Wanda to snap out of it.Wanda: Their rhyming meter is off!
- Pre-Mortem One-Liner: Before the Yugopotamians eat all the Gigglepies, King Gripullon says, "I'm gonna collect them all... in my stomach!!!"
- The Scream: All of the Gigglepies scream in horror as the Yugopotamians are about to eat them.King Gripullon: I'm gonna collect them all... in my stomach!!!
Gigglepies: AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! - Subverted Rhyme Every Occasion: The Gigglepies rhyme throughout the entire episode, until Timmy asks their leader Overlord Glee what they do when they suck the planet dry. Timmy actually notices this, and Overlord Glee reacts in horror.Timmy: And what do you do when you suck the planet dry?
Overlord Glee: We do what we always do! Blow the planet up and move on to the next one. (the cute Overlord Glee then suddenly turns red and hideous and develops a harsh, grating voice) ISN'T THAT CUTE?! (turns back to normal)
Timmy: That's horrible! ...And it didn't rhyme!
Overlord Glee: He's onto us! (turns into the red, hideous creature again) GET HIM! - Superpowered Evil Side: The Gigglepies are evil already, but Emperor Glee shows that he has the ability to turn from his regular cute form into a hideous monster form, with his voice turning deep and intimidating.
- Sure, Let's Go with That: Overlord Glee explains that their normal modus operandi is to use their Cuteness Proximity to mesmerize the inhabitants of the worlds they conquer, but with the Yugopotamians, they're willing to use it scare them into compliance instead.
- Temporary Bulk Change: After devouring the Gigglepies, the Yugopotamians are all extremely fat to the point the rulers’ thrones give out from under them from the weight.
- Tickle Torture: After Overlord Glee unleashes the Gigglepie horde onto Timmy and the Yugopotamians, they immediately swarm and tickle Timmy into submission. Overlord Glee also reveals that she had her followers subject the Yugopotamians to this when they weren't effected by their hypnosis. Being the kind of race that they are,
