After Depraved Dentist Dr. Bender (voiced by Gilbert Gottfried) makes fun of Timmy's buck teeth, Timmy wishes everyone were the same, turning everyone into gray blobs and causing all the fairies of the world to return to Fairy World, as they cannot find their kids. Timmy must find a way to identify himself so that Cosmo and Wanda can find him.
This episode contains examples of:
- Angry Guard Dog: Dr. Bender and Wendell have one, and he wears some Braces of Orthodontic Overkill.
- Broken-Window Warning: Bender and Wendell toss three dentures with insulting messages through Timmy's window.
- Calvinball: Timmy, Chester, and AJ play "Timmyball", where the only rule is that Timmy always wins.
- At the end of the episode, Cosmo and Wanda play "Wandaball", which is the same but with a cinderblock.
- Deliberately Monochrome: After Timmy wishes everyone looks the same, the whole world is a dull grey.
- Dramatic Thunder: Bender's house. It's even lampshaded.Timmy: So?
Chester: Dude. Didn't you see the lightning and hear the weird music?
A.J.: And all of a sudden it's night time?

A.J.: Don't you understand? He's a dentist! A mean, he's a mean dentist! - Dumbass Has a Point: Cosmo pointing out Dr. Bender not giving the ball back because he doesn't like Timmy's teeth might just be that simple and they don't have a good reason.
- Exact Words: Timmy's wish was if everything and everybody in the word looked exactly the same; the wish only changed everyone's outer appearances, and did not change their personalities or attitudes. As a result, Dr. Bender still refuses to give his ball back and is still a bully, and Mom and Dad are still their humorous selves over Mom's bad cooking,Timmy: Parents may be gray blobs like everyone else but they're still their goofy selves. Which means... [...] Mom still can't cook! That's why they're still goofy and Bender's still a jerk! I changed their outsides, not their insides!
- Fantastic Racism: Dr. Bender and Wendell after Timmy's wish. Despite everyone in the world becoming a grey blob, they claim they're somehow "the greyest and the blobbiest". That, and the blobs in general apparently despise those who change how they look even a little; Timmy putting on his trademark hat is all they need to try and—as Bender puts it—"grey [Timmy] up". This is done to show that, even in a world where everyone in the world looked exactly alike, people would still be capable of finding ways to hate and look down upon each other.
- Fun-Hating Confiscating Adult: Dr. Bender takes any toy that wanders into his yard and gives it to his son Wendell.
- Individuality Is Illegal: Timmy is nearly ripped apart by the other blobs for changing his outer appearance.
- Inflating Body Gag: Fairies experience this right before they explode as part of Magical Backup.
- Lethal Chef: Every time Mrs. Turner tries to make a casserole, it collapses and turns grey. After Timmy makes his wish, he finds that his mom's casseroles now turn pink instead, and uses this to fashion a replica of his trademark pink hat so Cosmo and Wanda can find him.
- Literal-Minded: Timmy says he doesn't get why Bender made fun of his teeth, leading Cosmo to state the following.Cosmo: What's not to get? The silly teeth part or the not having the ball part? (Wanda glares at him) I'm not agreeing with him, I'm just saying it's pretty straight forward.
- Mama Bear: Mrs. Turner lets Bender and Wendall have it in the end for bullying Timmy.
- Pent-Up Power Peril: When fairies can't grant wishes, they explode in a shower of fairy dust and confetti, also known as magical backup. Since everyone looks the same, none of the fairy godparents can find their kids, and therefore can't grant wishes, and therefore a lot of them suffer from magical backup.
- Running Gag: Cosmo and Wanda keep bumping into a blob named Chet while trying to find Timmy.Cosmo: Timmy?
Chet: Chet.
Wanda: Timmy?
Chet: Chet!
(Beat)
Cosmo: Now are you Timmy?
[Chet leaves in a huff]
