Blair is disturbed when Jo warns her that her new boyfriend may be addicted to drugs.
This episode contains examples of:
- Downer Ending: Blair is unable to convince Nick to stop waiting for his drug dealer and go on their date, the episode ends with her locking him out of Edna's Edibles and forcing him to wait outside for him.
- Drugs Are Bad: The facts that Nick takes drugs is portrayed very negatively. Despite the excuses he puts out, both Blair and Jo are shocked and disgusted.
- The Ghost: Steve, Nick's supplier is mentioned throughout the episode but never shows up onscreen.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Jo gives one to Nick about his drug habit, telling him that he has no idea what he's really dealing with and that by spending so much money on coke, he's giving more wealth to a dirty system.
- Trrrilling Rrrs: At the start of the episode, Blair is practicing rolling her Rs because Nick thinks that its sexy when she does it.
- Unexpectedly Dark Episode: Coming in the middle of the lighthearted Season 6, this is a rather dramatic issue-based episode reminiscent of Seasons 2-4. Blair and Jo, as soon as they discover the truth about Nick take the situation very seriously and they show the utmost apprehension at the thought of a drug deal taking place in their store. What's worse is that Blair can't talk Nick out of waiting for his drug dealer, leaving her no choice but to let him go.
