Zordrak creates a solid Argorrible and sends it to the land of dreams, destroying the Dreammaker's house to obtain the Dreamstone. Urpgor and the Urpneys try and stop the Argorrible from replacing them.
Tropes featured in the episode:
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: The giant Argorrible.
- Big Eater: Urk the Urpney.
- Character Check: The first time Zordrak has devised his own plan against the heroes since "The Nightmare Stone", all the way at the very start of Season Two.
- Comically Missing the Point: One of the Urpneys participating in the attempt to break the breath-holding record drinks all the water instead.
- Curbstomp Battle: The giant Argorrible fails to prove much of a challenge since both sides know it's weakness. The Wuts easily fend it off by flashing their orbs at it, while the Urpneys shrink and depower it as it escapes.
- Enemy Mine: An indirect one, since both the heroes and the Urpneys want the Argorrible disposed of.
- Never My Fault: After Blob and Urpgor's bumbling sabotages the initial plan to stop the Argorrible, they naturally both blame each other.
- No Endor Holocaust: Excused. The Dream Maker's tower is destroyed, though both he and Pildit magically reconstruct it in mere seconds.Rufus: Well he is the Dream Maker, after all.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Another plan that is sabotaged because the Dreammaker had left and taken the stone with him. He also handily rebuilds his house with magic afterwards, undoing any damage the Argorrible caused.
- Taught by Experience: Urpgor wastes no time sabotaging Zordrak's newest plan, knowing from their fiascos with the Nightmare Stone that he will kick him out the moment he has something more successful.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Urpgor is forced to work with Blob's men in order to stop the Argorrible.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Downplayed - Frizz and Nug still receive a few comical injuries, but they don't have to try and steal the Dreamstone, and end the episode eagerly anticipating Urpgor explaining what happened to Zordrak.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: In terms of their record breaking attempts however, they fall into this. Just as Zordrak calls them into his lair, they believe they have bested Urk at slime burger eating, only for Urk to struggle in one final burger after they have left.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Not said outright, but Uprgor and the other Urpneys waste no time sabotaging the Argorrible due to knowing Zordrak's fondness for the trope whenever he finds a resource more dependable than them.
