Spotting the Thread: Toothless spends the whole night (after dropping Hiccup off on the mountain) trying to figure out why Hiccup did what he did. He wonders if it's a Berk thing, then disregards that, as Hiccup is the opposite of the ideal Berkian...he then realizes that this is Hiccup's trauma acting up again. He then sets off to find Mirabel and fix their relationship.
Will They or Won't They?: While they have their First Kiss, the chapter ends with Hiccup and Mirabel "leav[ing] it at that, and figure the rest out later."
