Tropes:

  • "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: After coming back from vacation and see the neighborhood in ruins, Tim tells Cleveland that none of this would have happened if they had simply let Cleveland drive in the race like he wanted too.
  • Everything's Better with Rainbows: Donna pukes rainbows into the toilet, after drinking too much pina coladas.
  • Noodle Incident: When the Browns-Tubbs came back from their vacation, they saw their neighborhood in ruins. The things that happened was:
    • Lester broke almost all the bones in his body during the drag race after realizing he’s not a good driver.
    • To help pay for the hospital bill, Holt and Tim try to do a car wash. But Tim use his strength to open the fire hydrant and too much water came out to the point it cause a sinkhole on Holt’s house and the power out.
    • To save the meat from going bad, they decided to throw a block BBQ. However, as Tim was managing the grill he was set on fire. While trying to set the fire out, they forgot the meat and wolves came.
  • "Rediscovering Roots" Trip: A depressed Cleveland is inspired by a Roots (1977) sequel to take the family on a trip to Africa to get in touch with his people's culture. However, when their plane lands for a layover in Hawaii, Cleveland decides to stay and vacation there, and convinces Rallo that they're in Africa to avoid disappointing him.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Lester had to learn the hard way that just because he knows how to build race cars, doesn’t mean he automatically knows how to drive them. The result of him nearly breaking every bone in his body.
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: Lester overthrew Cleveland as leader of The Guys. But later gave it back to him because while he left, it cause a disaster in the neighborhood.
  • Vacation Episode: The Brown-Tubbs Family goes to Africa. Well, actually they go to Hawaii.
