Note: The chapter's full title, "Halloween Special: Gigan gets attacked with shampoo as Megalon cosplays as a Pirate", is too long for the site's systems to handle. This chapter is meant to have happened a day after Godzilla's battle with the Gyaos flock.
Gigan steps out of a portal into downtown Maretropolis, the main city of the Power Ponies world. His new master recently detected this parallel universe and ordered him to investigate it and bring back anything of value. To his chagrin, he shrunk to about two meters tall upon entering this world. The ambient magic confuses his sensors, but he detects hoofprints leading to a warehouse that is giving off a lot of electricity. He prepares his scythes and buzz-saw.
Inside, the supervillainess Mane-iac gloats. She had recently escaped from Balkham Asylum and re-stolen the Electro-Orb that will power her doomsday device, and the city's defenders, the Power Ponies, have not noticed yet. She hears something slicing through the metal door and assumes the Power Ponies have found her. She orders her minions to keep them busy while she preps her doomsday device. Gigan busts through the door and is immediately attacked by the minions.
Mane-iac preps her doomsday device, but before she can fully insert the Electro-Orb, one of her minions flies past her and into the wall. Gigan has defeated all her goons, but got covered with their hair-themed weapons like shampoo and hairspray, calling it the weirdest fight he had ever been in. He wipes himself off, then the two spot each other and are taken aback by the other one's unusual appearance. Mane-iac is an Earth Pony in a gaudy spandex costume with green tentacle-like hair, while Gigan is a chicken-like cyborg cyclops covered with blades.
Gigan senses great power in the Electro-Orb and demands it, but she refuses and attacks. She wraps him up with her prehensile hair and starts punching and kicking him, but he gets an idea and teleports into the sky, taking her with him. He then activates his buzz-saw and slashes through her hair. He smirks and teleports back into the warehouse while she is still falling.
Megalon, by his own initiative, decides to go on a mission of his own. He steps through a portal into the woods near Trotingham, turning into a two meter tall version of himself. As he wanders around, he suddenly realizes that he has no idea how to find the magical items his new master wants them to collect, and this is the first time he's been off on his own. He usually required his brother Gigan or Monster X to guide him. He gets out of the woods, and runs into the young colt Pipsqueak. It is Nightmare Night and Pipsqueak is trick or treating in a pirate costume. Mistaking Megalon for a pony in costume (his cousin Octavia told him about cosplayers), even though he's clearly a bipedal beetle with drills for hands, the child says he looks awesome. Megalon asks what he means by Nightmare Night. Although confused, Pipsqueak explains it is a holiday where you dress up in a costume and go door to door to collect candy. Since he's pretending to be a pirate, he refers to candy as treasure. Megalon has never heard of candy, and in his ditziness, assumes this is the treasure the master wants. He says he would like to go trick or treating, but he doesn't have a costume. Pipsqueak is even more confused, but offers to loan him his spare pirate gear.
Mane-iac made a crater in the street when she landed, but she crawls out of it with little more than a headache. She sees her reflection and finds her hair has been cut short, so she can't use it like tentacles anymore. At first, she laments her hair, but then she remarks it looks nice. She reenters the warehouse to find Gigan prying the Electro-Orb out of the doomsday device. He is flabbergasted, pointing out he dropped her from a height that should have killed or maimed her. Ignoring what he just said, she suddenly straddles him and says she's fallen in love with him. He's horrified beyond belief, but manages to knock her away, grab the Electro-Orb, and escape through a portal to Zenith.
Gigan arrives in Zenith to find Monster X beating the crap out of Gaira. Gaira is already missing an arm, then X breaks the other one and he runs away. Gaira's enhanced healing means he'll be good as new in a day. Gigan asks what was that about. X explains that Gaira tried to eat the Albino Hyper Gyaos while she was still recovering from her battle with Mothra. She fought back and severed Gaira's arm before passing out, so X stepped in. Gigan asks where Megalon is and X says he went on a mission of his own. Gigan says the good news is that he succeeded in his assignment and presents the Electro-Orb. The bad news is that the alternate dimension is such a messed up place he never wants to see it again. As he walks away, he is embarrassed when X points out the lipstick mark on the side of his head.
Megalon, dressed as a pirate, has a wonderful time trick or treating with Pipsqueak. Wonderbolt member Soarin is visiting his aunt and uncle, a pair of Earth Pony farmers, when the pair knock on the door. Dressed as Batmane, he answers the door, intending to scare the trick or treaters. When he sees Megalon, he immediately dumps all his candy into their bags and slams the door shut, terrified. Pipsqueak says the plunder is good and now it is time to move on to another house.
