The Two Thieves, Who Are Actual Thieves, Not Phantom Thieves (Inaba, Wednesday Afternoon)

The pickpockets, Satomi and Atsuko, get chased by Kenzo after stealing his wallet. The duo manages to lose him and meet up with their cat, Birthday Cake, and the three take refuge in an abandoned house. Just as they are about to look through Kenzo's wallet, the person in question suddenly smashes through a window and confronts them. Kenzo tries to strike a deal with the thieves, but Atsuko instead summons their Persona, Veles, to attack, creating an escape. Satomi and Atsuko attempt to flee; however, Kenzo strikes back with his magic.

Having cornered the thieves, Kenzo attacks them again with Makouha before switching from Archangel to Nigi Mitama. Satomi then summons her Persona, Psyche, to fight back as Atsuko comes to her aid. Kenzo immediately swaps to Gryphon and Deinonychus to deal with the couple, ordering them to cease the fight.

Satomi stubbornly refuses until Kenzo interrupts her, pointing out that Atsuko won't stop attacking him even if he gives them a chance. The Wild Card proceeds to heal the duo, and the three Persona-users soon introduce themselves. Kenzo then invites Satomi and Atsuko to get some food and receives a recommendation for a Chinese Diner from Yu's text message.

At the restaurant, Kenzo tells Satomi and Atsuko about Wild Cards, Zero Skills, and other Persona-related information after they share their story with him. To Satomi's shock, Atsuko offers to provide support in defeating the Shadows, as that would help them train their Personas and acquire some basic needs.

Yu, Shen, and Arisu soon show up, arriving to pick up Kenzo and the two vagabonds. Shen asks if Satomi and Atsuko will join the Raptor Pack, to which Kenzo declines, stating it will be awkward and that the pair might need to be their team. Yu then promises to make arrangements for how Satomi and Atsuko can contribute to the Shadow crisis before introducing himself to them.
