Friends and Enemies All Come Looking

After getting into a van heading back to the Shadow Operatives' headquarters, Sho asks a few questions to the Persona-users. Suddenly, they find themselves under attack from not only Sho's pursuers but Shadows as well. Minako begins giving orders to the Persona-users, tasking Yu to watch over Sho while she faces the Shadows with Labrys and Naoto. Minako then summons her Persona, Penelope, before charging into battle with the two girls.

Aigis, on the other hand, confronts Sho's pursuers by herself, thanks to her resistance to gunfire. After she and the attackers briefly exchange blows, a grenade from one of the hidden enemies accidentally hits the front of the Persona-users' van. Angered, Sho charges toward the assailants, cutting them down with his swords. Aigis yells at him to come back before going to the vehicle to check on Yu, who reassures her that he's okay and tells her to go after Sho. Aigis follows the trail of destruction Sho left behind, only to discover that he's gone.

Meanwhile, at Shujin, Shen insists on helping Kenzo fight the Shadows, citing he has a weapon to use. Kenzo relents on the condition that he will deal with the more dangerous threats. A girl cuts into the conversation, revealing herself as the class representative, Arisu Fukuda. She hopes to join Kenzo and Shen on their venture due to the Shadows causing her neighborhood to become unsafe. Kenzo agrees to take Arisu under his wing before the school bell signals the end of lunch.

Later, in the Great Room of the Thieves' Den, Kenzo talks with Ren and his parents, Yu, Akane, and Futaba, before revealing where he and his class are going for their school trip next week: Yasoinaba. Yu is in disbelief, with Kenzo telling him that the only reason his class voted for the destination is so they can meet the Investigation Team. Futaba pipes up, showing everyone her new creation, a Summoning Catalyst called the Shattering Shackle. She then puts it around Kenzo's wrist, causing him to summon Hephaestus after yanking it off. Ren warns to only provide the Shattering Shackles to people they trust, giving Kenzo an idea to let the Catalysts have imprints tied to their users.

Suffering from numerous wounds, Sho prepares to head to Leblanc to recover when he runs into a woman who asks what happened to him. He insists she doesn't need to worry when a taxi pulls up in front of them. The driver steps out, having witnessed the exchange, and Sho tells the man and woman to leave him alone before stating he doesn't have a home. The woman suggests bringing him to a private clinic near her house, promising him he can depart if he wishes once he gets healed. Shocked by the couple's kindness, Sho admits he's a Persona-user when they figure it out. After introducing themselves as Rumi Tominaga and Takuto Maruki, the couple carries Sho to the taxi to take him to the clinic.
