The Wolf's Missing Pup
The Phantom Thieves arrive at the police station to pick up Zenkichi, who, once in the Monabus, shows them a picture that Akane's kidnappers sent him. Oracle then takes Zenkichi's phone to trace where the message got sent, while Joker states he will use his Third Eye to find clues.
Once the Thieves make it to Zenkichi's residence in Kyoto, Joker begins using his ability to scout for significant hints about the kidnappers. After examining the scene, Joker implicates three suspects and explains how they accosted Akane. When Violet asks what he found under the couch, Zenkichi tells her it was a taser. One of the officers at the scene, Aoyama, attempts to take the object, but Joker suddenly grabs him by the throat, exposing him as one of Akane's abductors by noting his bandaged hand and lack of a taser. Aoyama promptly refuses to disclose what he knows, but Joker threatens to change his heart unless he tells the Thieves where he and his accomplices took Akane.
After obtaining information from Aoyama, the Thieves arrive at the Kyoto police station. As Oracle scans the entire building to locate Akane, an explosion of blue from the structure's side catches everyone's attention.
Inside one of the interrogation rooms, Akane wakes up to find Detective Muraoka entering, who proceeds to taunt her by stating that her father has no idea where they are. Just as Akane sinks into despair, a voice suddenly sounds in her head, triggering her to break free of her bonds and Awaken to her Persona, Cosette.
