The Deer Hunter (No. 93) provides examples of:
- Asshole Victim: The Deer Hunter, or at least the second one, finds their victims via a women's domestic abuse legal center, and targets their clients' abusers. Comparisons with the aforementioned Good Samaritan are made in the show itself.
- Badass in Distress: While kidnapped, Liz manages to goad the Deer Hunter into attacking her recklessly allowing Liz to strangle her with her legs. Technically, the FBI had to save the Serial Killer.
- Samus Is a Girl: Agent Keen profiled the Deer Hunter as being a weak male. Reddington disagreed, believing the Deer Hunter to be female. They turn out to both be right as the first Deer Hunter was Male and the second turned out to be his female wife.
- Serial Killer: Both Deer Hunter's targetted imposing men whom they killed with a crossbow, and then mutilated. The only diffidence is that the second one solely targeted abusers.
- Vigilante Man: Well, more like Vigilante Woman. The second Deer Hunter targeted abusive husbands.
