After recovering from the flu, Sheldon is surprised to find that his friends aren't exactly happy to see him; in fact, they are planning a "Sheldon-free" weekend at Las Vegas after having to endure taking care of him. On Amy's suggestion, Sheldon decides to try something he's never done before — apologize sincerely.
Tropes:
- Annoying Patient: Guess.
- Deadpan Snarker: Leonard, Howard and even Raj to Sheldon.
- The Friend Nobody Likes:
- More than any episode, this brings home how much the others can't stand Sheldon.
- There's also Stuart, less because no one likes him than because they simply forget about him.
- Heel Realization: It finally dawns on Sheldon that his behavior towards others is making his friends (even his girlfriend) not want to be with him.
- Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Raj And Emily. She even dresses more manly.
- Mr. Fanservice: Raj pole dancing on the party bus, much to Penny and Bernadette's amusement and Leonard and Howard's annoyance.
- Ungrateful Bastard: Sheldon treated his friends like crap while they were tending to him while sick, then feels offended that they don't greet him with open arms once he's well.
- Viva Las Vegas!: The group plan a Vegas weekend trip without Sheldon. Sheldon himself has no interest in going there ("Atlantic City without the taffy? No, thank you!") but is upset that they're specifically excluding him.
