Tropes

  • Heel Realization: Penny realizes the reason she wasn't bullied in high school was because she was the bully.
  • In Vino Veritas: Jimmy Speckerman apologizes to Leonard after having a few beers. Once he's sober, however, he reverts back to being a bully.
  • Rejected Apology: All the girls that Penny bullied refuse to grant her forgiveness when she calls them up to apologize.
  • Schoolyard Bully All Grown Up: Jimmy was one of the many people who tormented Leonard in high school. He came to him with an idea for 3-D glasses that work on any movie because he's the smartest person he knows. When told how his bullying affected Leonard, Jimmy becomes drunk and comes back to apologize, but becomes a bully again after sobering up.
  • Wedgie: One of the school bullies gave Leonard a wedgie so hard it lodged up one of his testicles and it didn't descend until after Christmas.
