Cherry soda, cherry soda, cherry soda...

Ricky Fitness: I told you guys we've should've gone jogging instead of golf! Golf is not exercise!
MC Bat Commander: Yes, but it is the most classy way to avoid responsibility.

Somewhere, at a three-star golf course...

The Aquabats are enjoying a game of golf, but the ever emotional Crash keeps making a spectacle out of himself when he can't get the hang of it. Finally hitting his ball, Crash accidentally hits the diminutive, short tempered Uberchaun, and wins up getting the whole team cursed.

In order to break the curse, the Uberchaun gives them three simple takes to complete in an hour; put a ball in a golf hole, tie a ribbon to the top of an ancient tree, and get him a cherry soda.Jimmy and Ricky decide to take care of the first task, while the Commander and Eaglebones take care of the second. Worried Crash will screw up, they task him with getting the cherry soda.

After the Uberchaun distracts them for three minutes with a cartoon, the 'Bats rush off to complete the simple tasks. Of course, the Uberchaun doesn't make it easy for them, summoning monsters to hinder their progress. The team soon manages to overcome the first two challenges regardless. Crash, however, arrives at the vending machine to find his pockets cut open by the Uberchaun and his coins missing.

Furious with himself for failing his friends, Crash grows to giant size and throws the entire vending machine at the Uberchaun, giving him a Cherry Soda and winning the bet.The curse is lifted and Crash is magically awarded for being the first person to beat an Uberchaun at his own game.

Tropes

  • Baseball Episode: Except with golf...err, kinda. The episode takes place on a golf course, but actually playing the game doesn't take up much of the episode.
  • Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs:
Eaglebones Falconhawk: You're really a leprechaun? Aren't you supposed to give gold, or wishes, or golden wishes?
  • Defeating the Undefeatable: Crash is awarded a trophy for being the first to ever beat an Uberchaun at his own game.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Crash's task—getting that can of cherry soda—is confounded as the vending machine won't accept his dollar bill. Frustrated, he grows big...and then realizes that he can just throw the vending machine at the Uberchaun. It works.
  • Evil Is Petty: The Überchaun could be a poster child.
  • Incredible Shrinking Man: What the Uberchaun threatens to do to the team if they fail his challenge.
  • Jerkass: The Uberchaun has a reason, even if it's a bad one. The two old ladies who pelt the team with golf balls however, do not.
  • Karma Houdini: Sure, he gets beaten, and hit with a vending machine, but the Uberchaun is by no means stopped from doing exactly what he's been doing by the end of the episode. The Aquabats just manage to avoid being cursed themselves.
  • Leprechaun: The main antagonist of the episode is the ÜBERCHAUN!.
  • Our Monsters Are Weird: Outside of the blue skinned leprechaun antagonist himself, he summons a monster made entirely of grass, and brings a tree to life, giving it an eye and legs.
  • Sore Loser: The Uberchaun is left whining and yelling after his challenges are beaten.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Uberchaun has a collection of golfers he's shrunk and captured. After the 'Bats defeat him, apparently they're still stuck with the Uberchaun.
  • When Trees Attack: What makes 'Tying a ribbon to the top of an ancient tree' so difficult.
  • Visual Pun: Jimmy's hand grenade. He detaches his hand, and it explodes.
