Elizabeth and Philip go the factory Frank had mentioned to Philip, and they manage to intimidate a worker at the factory into giving them what they want. Elizabeth then poses as a social worker to check up on Jared to see how he's doing after his parents were killed.
Stan goes to look for Dameran, the man who had tried to walk in to the Rezidentura. When he finds out Dameran has called in sick at work during a meeting of the World Bank group (where Dameran works at), Stan immediately figures out something is wrong. He goes the roof of a building across from the place the meeting is taken place, and discovers Dameran on the roof, about to kill members of the bank, but Stan kills him before that happens.
Paige decides to go to visit "Aunt Helen", and finds a woman (Kathleen Chalfant) who seems to be a Scatterbrained Senior, but she calls Philip after Paige has left to tell him about Paige's visit, which gets her in hot water with Philip.
This episode contains examples of:
- Adopted to the House: Jared is now staying with a neighboring family, and while disguised as a social worker, Elizabeth visits him there to check up on him (as well as keeping her promise to Leanne).
- Call-Back: When Nina tells Arkady that Stan told her he loves her, Arkady mentions she's digging herself out of the hole she's in.
- Henry had wanted an Intellivision for his birthday, and he's still begging Elizabeth and Philip to get one.
- Flashback: Elizabeth remembers talking with Leanne about Jared, doing an operation with Philip concerning The Vietnam War, and telling Philip she's ready to have children (we see her with a baby Paige at one point as well).
- Foreshadowing: Paige meeting Kelli (Lizzy DeKlement) on the bus and befriending her becomes important later.
- Sandra tells Stan about an EST meeting she's going to, which also becomes important in future episodes.
- The submarine propeller plans Elizabeth and Philip steal from the factory will also become important later this season.
- I Have a Family: The worker at the factory brings this up so Elizabeth and Philip won't do anything to him.
- Oh, Crap!: The worker at the factory when her realizes Elizabeth could possibly kill him.
- Shout-Out: Leanne talks to Elizabeth about The Beatles' song "Here, There and Everywhere", and says Revolver is their best album.
- The original version of Peter Gabriel's "Here Comes the Flood" plays near the end.
- Sniper Rifle: What Dameran has with him on the roof when Stan shoots him.
- Tranquil Fury: Philip is like this when he finds out about Paige's trip to see "Aunt Helen", telling her in no uncertain terms not to lie to him, which, of course, is funny coming from him.
