Similar to "The Uploads", this episode is a collection of Internet clips featuring major and minor characters from the series in bizarre situations.

Tropes:

  • Ascended Meme: The show references the Gumball creepypasta "The Grieving".
  • Black Comedy Burst: Tobias finds out that his phone was mixed up with an organ needed for a patient and finds the video of the moment the surgeon, Dr. Old Man Reaching For A Jar Of Olives, realizes the mistake.
    • Richard passing out from a heart attack after eating buttersmear for 11 days straight, then telling his viewers to call an ambulance if they're watching this.
  • Bowdlerization: On Cartoon Network's Polish channel, Gumball's belching competition video was cut.
  • Burping Contest: Gumball and Darwin have one of these. Gumball wins by a landslide.
  • The Cameo: The Void makes a brief appearance when Darwin accidentally shatters the fourth wall.
  • Continuity Cavalcade: "Nobody's a Nobody" song is filled with this.
    • The Cameo of the ghosts from "Halloween", Gargaroth from "The Scam", the pig doctor from "The Saint", and the Monster Clown from "The Procrastinators".
    • Granny Jojo and Louie shown to be still Happily Married in their part since "The Signature".
    • Gumball and Penny's duet, referring to how they became an Official Couple in "The Shell".
    • Leslie singing at the cafeteria may be a reference to his debut in "The Third", which was at the cafeteria.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • The Saxophone Chihuahua makes his return from "The Uploads".
    • The Sneezing Drum man from "The Extras" also makes his return.
  • Creepypasta: One clip claims to be from the Gumball "lost episode" creepypasta "The Grieving". It's not. It's just Saxophone Chihuahua from "The Uploads".
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Gargoroth
  • Epic Fail: All Banana Joe's attempts to do a backflip.
  • Fat Comic Relief: Tony/Neckbeard (the fat, yellow rabbit-like creature who wears a white tanktop and no pants) gets followed by a tuba man who makes music when he walks, gets sick of him, and pushes him away.
  • Given Name Reveal: This episode reveals Coach (and by extension, Jamie)'s surname to be Russo.
  • Hidden Depths: Who knew Gumball could play a guitar?
  • Hollywood Homely: Parodied with Coach Russo's fitness video, when Coach tells the viewers they'll "go from this to this" while showing two different photos of herself. The only difference between the photos is that she put on glasses in the first one.
  • Mood Whiplash: The ending, where after all the bizarre situations, the cast join together and sing "Weird Like You and Me" then the screen fades to black... and the viewer is treated with an image of the saxophone Chihuahua.
  • Nutritional Nightmare: Richard is showing off his product, Buttersmear, which is combined from bacon and fats from all other junk foods. He mentions that he's been eating it for eleven days straight and can't feel his body.
Richard: Buttersmear, makes every taste a little bit butter. (collapses face-first) If you're watching this video, please call an ambulance.
  • Overly Long Gag: Gumball and Darwin's secret handshake takes a WHILE to perform and includes things like pretending to rip eachothers' hearts out and referencing The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
  • Rule of Three: Banana Joe attempts to backflip three times, with each attempt having a different comedic result.
  • Show Within a Show: The collection of clips in this episode are set up as a blooper show called The Best of Elmore StreamIt.
  • The Voice: The girl singing in the end of "Weird Like You and Me"; she is never seen, and the scene shows only a bathroom stall opening.
  • You Are Not Alone: The basic message of "Nobody's a Nobody (Weird Like You and Me)".

A space for every star in the great big sky...
