While investigating in Egypt, Lois runs into trouble when she is mistaken for the reincarnation of a queen.
This episode includes the following tropes:
- Anti-Villain: The Egyptians. They don't mean Lois any harm (in fact, they want to make her their leader), but their attempts to revive her memory nearly kill her and Jimmy.
- Deadly Gas: The gas intended to revive Lois' memory is poisonous, making the room a Gas Chamber.
- Imposter Forgot One Detail: Clark notes that a telegram said to have been written by Lois and Jimmy did not use reporter's phrases, which tips him off that they're in trouble (again).
- It Has Been an Honor: As the air becomes poisonous and no sign of rescue appears, Jimmy tells Lois that it's been an honor working with her.
- Prestige Peril: Two Egyptians think Lois Lane is the reincarnation of a long-dead queen and plan to make her their ruler. Unfortunately, this involves exposing her to deadly gas.
- Reincarnation: The Egyptians believe Lois is their dead queen reincarnated.
- Suddenly Bilingual: Jimmy brings back a newspaper for Perry White, who apparently knows the native language.
