The A-Team is called in by a sibling garbage team who are being threatened into giving up their business by their competitor Ike Hagan. The team investigates and finds that Hagan is involved in illegal toxic waste dumping. He's been dumping in an abandoned sewer under the siblings' building and is worried they'll find out and expose him when they try to build an underground parking garage for their building.
This episode includes examples of the following tropes:
- Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique: The team spills toxic waste on a guy's desk to get his cooperation. He holds out for a few seconds but eventually capitulates. Afterwards, the team reveals that it's actually not toxic waste. It's maple syrup.
- Organ Autonomy: Murdock's delusion of the week involves his left hand wearing a black glove and acting without his consent, although it is more of a nuisance than actually evil. He names it Lefty.
- Papa Wolf: B.A. wants to deal with the situation because he's afraid that some little kid will get hurt by the toxic waste.
- Prop Recycling: B.A. gets one over on Murdock at the end of the episode by introducing Lefty to his own "Big Lefty", complete with his own black leather glove. The glove he uses is the same one that was worn by the villain Vescari in "The Island".
