Haunted by Memories was Teppen's fourth expansion, released in March of 2020 alongside the game's fourth post-launch hero, Zero. The card set focused primarily on characters remembering their past selves, characters who have changed allegiences, and characters who have matured in someway. Fittingly, the new ability added was named "Memory" which changes card abilities depending on how many Action Cards have been used by you in the match.

"Haunted by Memories" contains examples of:
- Face–Heel Turn: "Rebel's Memories" (HBM 101) has Sigma remembering his first encounter with the maverick Zero during his time as a Maverick Hunter.
- Heel–Face Turn: Refrenced in some of the Legendary Cards.
- "The Doll's Memories" (HBM 050) shows Cammy remembering her time as Killer Bee even wearing her Alpha-era Shadaloo uniform.
- "Maverick's Memories" (HBM 076) focuses on the now heroic Zero, remembering his past as a violent maverick.
