Sh'Okanabo has decided to do a test run of his Gene Seeds ability to transform their hosts into Kanabo. Things take a turn for the worse when Mikey is accidentally infected.

- Metamorphosis: Anyone infected by the Kanabo virus eventually turns into a Kanabo version of themselves.

- Out-of-Character Alert: When Mikey is applauded for making the loudest burp yet he doesn't bask in the attention, his brothers notice it right away. When he starts devouring everything in the fridge, Raph states that he knows something's wrong with Mikey if the latter's eating vegetables.

This place could sustain us for centuries if not for its accursed sun! - This Cannot Be!: Sh'Okanabo doesn't take it too well when he finds out that the Kanabo drones can be reverted back to their previous normal selves by sunlight.Sh'Okanabo: (after going back to his spaceship) This is impossible! The Kanabo have thrived before on countless planets under countless suns.
- Villainous Breakdown: All of Sh'Okanabo's smugness and confidence evaporate when mere sunlight foils his invasion. Screaming in a rage, he attempts to kill everyone by leaving them in a collapsing building.
