When Ultimate Drako scatters the Turtles and Master Splinter, Raphael ends up on an alien world in the middle of a planetary motorcycle race. In order to get help to return home, he's got to help Team Fitts win the race.

This episode provides examples of

  • Bald of Evil: Morrey doesn't have any hair on his head and has an utter disregard for the lives of his racers.
  • Cat Girl/Unusual Ears: Methania is an alien-based example.
  • Continuity Nod: The alien restaurant server from Season 2 "Turtles in Space: The Trouble with Triceratons" can be seen in the audience watching the race. This could indicate that Raph's ended up back in the same galaxy as the Federation and Triceratons.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: Commissioner Morrey deliberately sends the racers into dangerous terrain, such as tunnels filled with man-eating worms and a rainforest filled with hostile tribal cannibals, on the grounds that it's good for ratings if some of the racers get hurt or even killed.
  • Crossover: In this episode Raph is thrown into the world of the Planet Racers graphic novel
  • Engineered Public Confession: Methania uses a hidden camera to expose Comissioner Morrey by getting him to brag about how he's sending the races to their deaths for ratings, and he can just get more racers.
  • Forgotten First Meeting: In the Season 6 episode "Race for Glory", it is implied that Raph met Falcon when the latter was a child. Falcon shows no indication that he remembers Raph in this episode. However, there is no confirmation that these Falcons are the same person and it is possible that the kid Falcon was actually a descendant of the adult Falcon instead.
  • The Ghost: Raph helps the racers so that they'll introduce him to a scientist who might figure out how to get him home, but ends up phasing back to his brothers before he gets that far, so all we ever know about that scientist is their existence.
  • Honor Before Reason: Raph stops to help another team when they're in danger. It nearly costs him the race, but as he tells Falcon:
Raph: Winning without honor is not winning.
  • Party Scattering: The Turtles and Master Splinter are scattered throughout time and space by Ultimate Drako.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Falcon and Methania. Falcon is the more brash and hot-headed one. Matheria is calmer, far-thinking, and more reasonable. Their color scheme even matches.
