When the Tortellini Emerald disappears during a magic show at the museum, the Turtles are accused of stealing it. They have to track down the real thieves in order to clear their names.
Tropes:
- A Day in the Limelight: For Don Turtelli, as this is his third and final appearance in the series.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: When the cops are about to frisk the turtles, Donatello asks if it's going to be a strip search, and Raphael responds with "I hope not. This is a family show."
- Clear Our Names: The turtles find the Tortellini Emerald and capture Don Turtelli and Boldini in order to prove they're not the ones who stole it.
- Frame-Up: Due to a misunderstanding, the turtles wind up taking the heat for the emerald's theft and they get chased by the New York police.
- Hidden in Plain Sight: Zak and Kaitlyn hide the Tortellini Emerald in "the last place" Don Turtelli and Boldini would ever look for it: its original display case.
- Officer O'Hara: One appears in this episode. He mistakes the Turtles for leprechauns.
- Remember the New Guy?: This is the first (and only) appearance of Caitlyn, Zack's friend who volunteers as Michelangelo's assistant in his magic act, having been acquainted with the turtles offscreen.
- Tickle Torture: A given in an episode featuring Don Turtelli as the villain. Zack and Caitlyn are both his victims, but Zack gets most of the punishment.
