When Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo eat some pizza that has been doused with a Love Potion, all three of them fall in love with Irma and start fighting over her. Donatello has to find a way to cure his love-struck brothers so they can stop Shredder and Krang's plan of draining the power from a nuclear submarine to re-power the Technodrome.

- Divide and Conquer: The whole reason for the Love Potion is so that no matter who the turtles fall in love with, they'll be too busy fighting each other to foil Shredder and Krang's Evil Plan.
- Fourth-Date Marriage: Irma hadn't even met the trio of sailors sending her gifts (Leo, Raph and Mikey) and she shows up at the docks, decked out in a wedding dress with the intent of marrying one of them on the spot.
- Love Potion: Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo eat some pizza that has been doused with the "Love First Person Sighted" variety, and all three simultaneously fall in love with Irma. Later, Rocksteady eats a slice of the pizza himself and falls in love with April O'Neil.
- Villainous Crush: Rocksteady develops a crush on April after eating a pizza laced with a love potion. He proceeds to kidnap her and plot out a wedding, even instructing his pal Bebop to swipe a ring and kidnap a preacher. The crush is entirely one-sided, though April at one point tries to openly flirt with Rocksteady in order to buy the Turtles time to rescue her.
