• Expy: The Creepy Catcher is one for Jason Vorhees though less teen murdering and just actually wants people to play baseball.
• Found Footage Films: Spoofed with Robin and Bumblebee trying to do their best Final Girl impression.
• Gone Horribly Right: The Titans prank Robin by hanging his underwear on the flagpole... only for him to come out bare-assed.
• Inelegant Blubbering: Robin and Bumblebee do dueling versions of this, even involving dog filters.
• Kneel Before Zod: Starfire gets too into being the "pea queen" after learning the shell game along with Who Dares?.
• Scenery Censor: A branch is there to spare the viewer the horror of Robin's "frontal area."
• Screaming at Squick: The Titans are this at Robin coming out naked.
• Shell Game: Cyborg is able to rip off speedsters Mas y Menos with it before teaching it to Starfire. She then does the same to Kid Flash, even after going so slow.
• Underwear Flag: The episode begins with the Titans, and their new friend Bumblebee, paying giggling respects to Robin's underpants, waving majestically on a flagpole. The laughter abruptly turns to shrieks of horror when Robin emerges from his cabin without any.
• Wild Teen Party: Raven is coming out of one.
