Recap / Teen Titans Go S 5 E 11 The Fight

Go To

Robin tries to teach the Titans about real estate, but the other Titans just want to get into an exciting fight.

  • Attack Its Weak Point: When the Titans decide to fight Brother Blood and his plan to drill into Jump City, Robin has the other Titans help him break the large green glowing crystal at its top in order to depower it.
  • Clip Show: Robin uses clips from past episodes to show the Titans get into too many fights and should take a break to learn about mortgages, but all he does is show they're not even fighting cool villains like they used to.
  • Fully Automatic Clip Show: Most of the first half is about Robin explaining to the Titans that they focus too much on eating food instead of actually fighting against evil, which is demonstrated by a collection of clip shows. Subverted with the second half, which features a fight between the Titans and Brother Blood that's played almost entirely seriously and a potential reason for Brother Blood to return.
  • It Has Only Just Begun: Brother Blood claims this after the Titans foil his plan, causing the other Titans to remember how tiring superheroics actually are and instead ask Robin to give them his real estate lesson.
  • Not Helping Your Case: When Robin tries to show the team that they constantly fight bad guys, he just shows a bunch of clips of them having food fights or fighting food.
  • "Not Making This Up" Disclaimer: Robin shows a printed comic to show that Matter-Eater Lad does exist.
  • This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: Robin says Matter-Eater Lad's powers are rather useless and he spends most of his time on his home planet dealing with politics.
