The Titans each tell their own slightly inaccurate origin stories.
This episode contains examples of:
- Actually a Doombot: This episode has Beast Boy reveal that all this time he's been nothing more than a Green Lantern projection from John Stewart!
- Malaproper: Beast Boy pronounces the word "oranges" and "origins" as "orangins".
- Origins Episode: Parodied to hell. Robin is trying to tell his own, but the Titans find it boring, so they come up with their own, basically mixing it with other heroes. Raven's origin is Spider-Man's, Cyborg's is Superman, Starfire's is Batman and Beast Boy's is Green Lantern.
- Riches to Rags: In Cyborg's story, his step-parents lost their farm and became homeless.
- Serious Business: Robin tells the Titans that they are making a mockery to origin stories with their made up ones and that they need to take them seriously.
