Go To

After three years of not getting any presents from Santa Claus, Robin concludes that they must be on the Naughty List.

  • Christmas Episode: The episode's focused on the Titans going to the North Pole and meeting Santa Claus in order to get some presents.
  • Mugged for Disguise: Upon reaching the North Pole to find the Naughty List and removes themselves from it, the Titans immediately mug a group of elves to steal their outfits.
  • Never My Fault: When Cyborg interrupts an elf assembly line in order to ask where the naughty list is, he then blames another elf, who gets dragged off by security in Cyborg's place.
  • Sociopathic Hero: While trying to find the Naughty List, Cyborg interrupts an elf assembly line and then blames another elf, Beast Boy annoys Rudolph into leaving the reindeer stables, Starfire and Raven eat a gingerbread man and his entire house, and Robin knocks out some guards with blow darts. They then convince Santa to remove them from the list by blowing up his entire toy factory and then having Raven summon a new one when he admits that just spending time together without presents is incredibly boring.
  • True Meaning of Christmas: The episode's centered around subverting it. In flashbacks to previous Christmases, Robin states that it's alright that they didn't get gifts because they still have each other, but after three years of that, Robin admits that he wants gifts too. When Santa Claus himself tries to impart this sentiment near the end of the episode, Robin points out the hypocrisy of Santa saying that while also running a toy factory; combined with an attempt to bond with the Titans being horribly boring, Santa's forced to admit that "presents" might indeed be the true meaning, and it ends with him abolishing the Naughty/Nice lists and giving presents to everyone, villains included.
