Beast Boy and Raven learn that their exes, Terra and Aqualad, are now in a relationship.
- Becoming the Mask: After successfully breaking Terra and Aqualad up with their Operation: Jealousy, Raven and Beast Boy celebrate with a kiss, then realize they actually like each other.
- Carnivore Confusion: Terra commits a faux pas during her first date with Aqualad by ordering seafood and being served a squid that had been Aqualad's father figure.
- Commonality Connection: After Beast Boy and Raven break them up, Terra and Aqualad realize that the only thing they had in common was their mutual hate for the Titans.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: After realizing that their relationship was being deliberately sabotaged, Aqualad and Terra summon all of the power they have to attack Beast Boy and Raven. Identical to how "Be Mine" ended, Beast Boy immediately stops them in their tracks with a gorilla punch, and Raven summons the "trash hole" portal underneath them.
- Looped Lyrics: Beast Boy drove Terra away from him by singing "Fade Away" (from Terra's previous appearance) on a loop so often that she was driven mad.
- Moment Killer: The episode ends with Beast Boy and Raven about to go on a real date, only for Third Wheel Cyborg to show up and offer to get in-between them as well.
- Offscreen Breakup: Despite Beast Boy jumping into the Trash Hole to be with Terra at the end of "Be Mine", this episode shows that they broke up while he was down there because he kept singing "Fade Away" on an endless loop for her.
- Operation: Jealousy: Raven claims that she and Beast Boy are dating in order to regain Aqualad's attention. When just acting lovey-dovey in front of the other couple isn't enough, they decide to go for direct sabotage, throwing rocks at Aqualad and fish at Terra.
- Third Wheel: When Robin sees the other Titans committing Operation: Jealousy and decides to use the opportunity to also ask Starfire on a date, Cyborg proudly declares himself one of these and spends the rest of the night getting between the two on a date.
