Starfire starts to bond with a parasite growing in her, and Robin is determined to remove it for her own safety.
Tropes:
- Properly Paranoid: At the end of the episode, after Robin is convinced to finally spare Parry the parasite after it gives him a brain cape, it immediately separates from her and mutates into a giant monster. Robin has just enough time to gloat before it squishes the Titans with its claw.
- Real After All: Starfire claims that the parasite can communicate with her telepathically. Robin assumes it's a side effect of whatever's affecting her, until he tries to cut it off and it talks to him as well.
- Subverted Suspicion Aesop: At first, it seems like Parry really was trying to bond with Starfire and teach Robin a lesson, but then, he turns into the monster from Robin's imagination, and they're all teleported to another planet.
