Amy prepares to finally move to California for her promotion after everything got postponed due to COVID, but becomes uncomfortable when Jonah gets marriage on his mind.
Tropes:
- Armor-Piercing Question: Jonah asks Amy, "Do you want to marry me?" Not as a proposal, but to get a final answer as to what Amy actually wants from them. Her negative answer is what convinces Jonah to leave her.
- Call-Back: Jonah reminds Amy of one of their first conversations they when he first started working for Cloud 9 "Tomorrow is gonna be just like today, and I know that because today is just like yesterday" It also serves an Meaningful Echo to the Pilot episode.
- Put on a Bus: This is Amy's farewell episode before she leaves the store — and the show — to go to her California job.
- Shout-Out: Mateo sings "For Good" from Wicked in his goodbye message to Amy. This is followed up by Glenn making his own reference to Babe, telling Mateo "That'll do, pig." Mateo doesn't get the reference and is offended.
