Without powers but still ready to fight
This episode provides examples of:
- Binary Suns: Soturix 7's sky doesn't have just two suns, but five suns.
- Deadly Game: In the desertic Soturix 7, its people are forced to compete in a dangerous skateboard game to win "The Prize". Chiro is later forced to compete against Nova (who was captured in her normal monkey stat and upgraded by Skurg), to free her.
- Fisher King: Justified by the destruction of Skurg's Artifact of Doom, which made Soturix 7 a hostile wasteland, and turns it back into a fertile paradise where its inhabitants can prosper with Skurg dethroned.
- Hollywood Mirage: When Chiro is left to die in the desert by Skurg, he briefly sees an oasis and quickly drinks from it, only to see it was really sand.
- Improperly Paranoid: After Chiro proves himself by saving a girl in a life-threatening game, Skurg praised and then abandoned him in the desert, believing Chiro came to overthrow him.
- Power Outage Plot: When the Hyperforce enters in Soturix 7's atmosphere, the Cyber Robot and the brains of the Hyperforce, are shut down, making them crash in the desert and to act like normal monkeys and also makes Chiro to lose his powers. It turns to be caused by a huge statue in the village of Tresh, activated by Skurg, which also drained all the life from his verdant planet, turning it into a deserted one.
- The Unintelligible: The Hyperforce (minus Chiro) become this due to a disruptor field in Soturix 7, causing them to act and screech like actual monkeys.
