When Goodman threatens Marvin with getting in trouble with the Cartel for not having his house payment, Marvin and Jeffy have to resort to the ultimate way to make money:
cook and sell blue rock candy, which was recently outlawed.
- Developing Doomed Characters: The cartel member surprisingly get's a lot of backstory for a nameless one off like him, he has children and is a single father because he killed his wife for not paying a shakedown in time, and he got his daughter Cat In The Hat as a gift for her Quinceanera. Unfortunately, people who are familiar with the original series know he's not gonna make it to the Quince on account of being blown to bits.
- Dumbass Has a Point: When Marvin learns he has lung cancer, Jeffy suggests that since he legally can't be denied medical care, Marvin should let his medical bills go to collections and he should focus on paying his mortgage.
- Expy: Take a guess on who's who.
- Marvin and Jeffy most obviously take on the roles of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.
- Goodman plays the cold and calculating part of Gustavo Fring, while the cartel guy he brings over represents the shakedown Gus threatens Walter with.
- Tuna Fish Terry takes on the role of Hector Salamenca, even assassinating the cartel guy using the same bell-ring bomb Hector used to kill Gus.
- Brooklyn Guy seem's to imitate Hank Schrader.
- I Have a Family: The cartel guy has two kids, giving him some sympathy from Marvin when he kills him. Brooklyn Guy retaliates that Marvin had kids, and the cartel guy was gonna kill him despite it.
- Something We Forgot: After all is said and done, Marvin and Jeffy leave for the arcade using the money they made, forgetting they trapped Rose in a closet.
