Susie, Betsy and Alice head for the city to recruit magical creatures for the island. But what they're looking for turns out to be something slightly different.
- Break Her Heart to Save Her: Ramona lies about being able to leave Frozen Time, so Susie would bring the campers to the island and give the magic a jumpstart again, at the cost of their friendship.
- Et Tu, Brute?: After learning that Ramona lied to her about coming back, Susie thrashes the room.Susie: (enraged) BETRAY ME?! USE ME LIKE A DING-DONG PAWN AND CALL IT "FRIENDSHIP"?! I'LL FRIENDSHIP YOUR FACE! (throws the top bunk bed at the mirror before breaking down sobbing)
- Hope Spot: Susie is the happiest she's ever been when she believes Ramona is finally coming home. Which makes the truth all the sadder to see.
- The Reveal: A few things are brought to light:
- The camp itself was conceived of literal days before the first campers arrived.
- We finally find out why Susie has been so angry with Ramona all this time.
- Sympathy for the Devil: Oscar feels sorry for Susie after learning what happened between her and Ramona and uses his glowworm powers to give Susie a happy dream, living with Ramona in Massachusetts like they dreamed of.
- Un-person: When Alice asks where Ramona is at the end of the episode, a sullen Susie simply says, "Ramona who?"
